Joshua Fischer is an experiential marketer and writer living in North Carolina. He worked at Tufts University Art Galleries in Medford, MA, and in Houston, TX at Rice University Art Gallery where he curated site-specific installations by Jonathan Schipper, Thorsten Brinkmann, Yusuke Asai, Andrea Dezso, Ana Serrano, and Yasuaki Onishi. He organized with Rice Gallery director, Kimberly Davenport, twenty-four additional commissions, including installations by Dinh Q. Lê, Joel Shapiro, Sarah Oppenheimer, and El Anatsui. He has published exhibition reviews and articles in Wallpaper, Glasstire, an online art magazine covering visual art in Texas and Southern California, and Big Red & Shiny, an online publication focusing on the Boston and greater New England arts.
